  1. To whom do I pay my accommodation?

You pay the hotel directly.  NEI has arranged reduced rates at Fairmont and Starwood properties worldwide only as a service to our delegates.

  1. What software requirements do I require for an NEI Conference Series?

You must make certain that you do not have any POP-UP window restrictions on your computer (common at Internet Cafes or even business centers - you may need the assistance of a technician on-site to remove them). You will also need sound to hear the lectures and we suggest that if you are not taking your personal laptop, verify with your hotel to see if their computers have speakers or allow for an earphone hook-up. Flash capabilities are required however, this is a standard application on newer computers and can be downloaded for free on older versions. The NEI technical department will be able to assist with any further queries.

  1. How do I attend the lectures?

All lectures are offered On-Demand through webcasting. Once you complete the registeration process you will receive the information on how to access your lecture.

  1. Where may I view the lectures?

You will need to have access to a computer to view the lectures.  You may use your own personal computer, your hotel’s business centre or an Internet cafe within the vicinity of your hotel accommodation. Reminder: NEI has an education discount rate with Apple Canada, should you require any hardware or software prior to traveling please do not hesitate to contact us.

  1. I found NEI posted on the internet with specific travel dates and destinations. Why is that?

As a complimentary service to our delegates, groups of 10 or more receive discounted rates on American Airlines flights. By advertising certain dates and destinations, we hope to be able to save you money on NEI's most popular travel destinations (based on experience).   1. What do I receive for referring a friend to NEI?

All delegates who refer a friend attending an NEI conference will receive $50.00.
